FLL Explore: Founders Edition
🤖 Program Overview
An exciting introduction to FIRST LEGO League, the FLL Explore: Founders Edition program is perfect for young engineers ready to dive into robotics for the first time. In this program, students will discover the fundamentals of engineering and coding while building creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Working in small, instructor-led teams, students will build and program a motorized LEGO® model and create a "Show Me" poster to present their ideas and solutions to a real-world problem. By the end of the program, students will showcase their work at an official FLL Explore Festival!

❓FAQs
What if my child misses a class?
There are no makeups or refunds for missed classes. Students must catch up outside of scheduled team time.

Possibly — festival locations vary by season and are announced closer to the event. Odin Wise will help coordinate any travel within VA, DC, or MD.
How many students are on a team?
Typically 2–6 students per team with one dedicated coach.
When will we know the exact festival date and location?
TBD — festival organizers announce dates closer to the event. We'll notify families as soon as we receive them.
What does my child need to bring to class?
Just a water bottle and a light snack if needed — please note we are a nut-free program, so all snacks must be nut-free to ensure the safety and comfort of all students.
Do we pay extra if our team is selected for an additional showcase or invitational event?
Yes. Tuition covers the regular season up to the FLL Explore Festival. Additional fees may apply for any extended opportunities.
